Once again, Brian and amigos T. Jefferson Parker, C.J. Box and Ken Wilson charged into the wilds of the California Sierras as part of their annual fishing trip – here are some pix!
(And be sure to click on the photo to view a larger, mucho detailed image!)

Here they are high above the San Joquin River, assuming the classic gauntlet pose.

Jeff and Ken with nice rainbows from Crowley Lake.

Jeff and a rainbow.

Does the scenery get any better than this, even with ken in it? (Brian prefers the Alpine cheeses…)

...or this.

Or this? Jeff’s artwork entitled “$0.86” The wiles of cheap foil (and cheap wine) finally realized.

Chuck with a real beaut on the San Joquin!

A splendid native brook trout from a high mountain lake…and Brian’s hand. And a dandy cutthroat trout (Brian never seems to catch these fish when
someone can take a picture of him.)
Ah, there he is with Jeff, on Rock Creek: elevation about 9K.
Jeff and his invisible fish. Brian punching one out there to the “canyon monsters” Chuck working the pocket waters. The boys got lot’s of healthy exercise…

…and a reward system was in place… …all of which resulted in healthy appetites for the Meat Bucket dinner…
  And sweet slumber!

The End
